Trish Thalman | Pierre Zuppiroli

Trish Thalman is an American with Swiss nationality who has lived and worked in the Lake Geneva region for over 20 years.

Originally from the west coast of the United States, Trish has lived previously in New Zealand and England. She has traveled extensively around the world and speaks English and French.

Reading the book "Heidi" at the age of 8 sparked a love affair with Switzerland. Subsequently, she won a gold star in Geography for knowing that the highest mountain in Western Europe is Mont Blanc!

An energetic, outdoor sports and hiking enthusiast, Trish loves to share her vast knowledge of and affection for the region's landscape, history and architecture. She delights in the year-round surprise elements of the region and enjoys introducing visitors to traditional seasonal events and festivals.

In the inevitable build up to founding A DIFFERENT VIEW, Trish's career included managerial positions in the airline, travel and hi-tech industries. Always drawn to the travel and leisure industry, Trish now takes pleasure in welcoming guests to the Lake Geneva and Haute Savoie regions in Switzerland and France which she sums up as exhilarating and invigorating, sophisticated and multi-cultural.
